===== Summary =====

The installation of OMV-Extras enables access to the full range of value added plugin’s available on openmediavault.

        Applies only to <b>amd64 (64-bit)</b> ISO installations.  When using scripted installs (Raspberry PI's, Armbian SBC's, 32-bit, etc.), OMV-Extras is installed by default. <br>
        Note that manual installations on <b>ARMEL</b> platforms are <b>NOT supported</b>.

===== Installation =====

Installing OMV-Extras is accomplished by copying and pasting the following wget command, on your server's command line, as root:

''wget -O - https://github.com/OpenMediaVault-Plugin-Developers/packages/raw/master/install | bash''

Highlight the line above and hit **ctrl+c**.  In an SSH client like PuTTY, a right mouse click will paste the line into the command line. Do not close the PuTTY window before the script is complete.  (The widow can be minimized.)\\

  * When the script is complete, OMV-Extra's will be installed and activated.
  * In the OMV7 GUI, under **System**, **Plugins**, click the **Magnifying Glass** icon (check for new plugins).
  * In the OMV6 GUI, under **System**, **Plugins**, click the **Magnifying Glass** icon (check for new plugins).
  * In the OMV5 GUI, under **System**, **Plugins**, click the **Check** button.

The plugins window will be populated with a wide range of new, value added, plugins.
